My first impression of the hotel was very positive. It is decorated with many colourful flowers and pretty nice water elements. The staff is throughout friendly and attentive.
The check-in was easy and fast. I have received all relevant information and even got accompanied to my room.

Room Experience
I was staying in “Dusit Room”. It has a size of 60 square meters with a separate bedroom, living area, and a large bathroom.
The room is fully equipped with everything you might need. A/C, two flat screens with cable TV, telephones, hairdryer, mini bar, safe, tea & coffee making facilities, a desk, and a huge range of utensils.
I felt very comfortable staying in this room. It is designed with a passion for details and beautiful orchid flowers.
The Breakfast at Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok
The breakfast buffet at Dusit Thani offers a wide range of food. I was especially happy about the good tasting bread that is so difficult to find in Asia.
Thereto there is a choice of ham and cheese. You can order freshly made eggs in all varieties; fried egg, omelet, scrambled egg, etc.
Moreover, there is a Japanese selection, sweet pastries, Asian style breakfast, and a choice of fruit juices. All in all the breakfast buffet caters to all tastes.
Bars and Restaurants
In Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok there are 7 restaurants with a wide range of Asian food, a Steak house and and international restaurant. I especially liked the 22 Kitchen & Bar located on the 22nd floor. From here you have a breathtaking view on the Lumpini Park and the cityscape. The chef is from Hawaii and prepares Pacific coastal cuisine and also meat dishes. There is also a nice bar in case you only want to enjoy the view with a drink.
Devarana Spa Area
“Devarana” comes from Thai-Sanskrit and means “garden in heaven”. When you enter the Spa area you really feel like entering heaven’s gate.
The Spa is decorated with silver & gold and natural stones & gems. Beautiful lotus blossoms, orchids, and water elements create an oasis with a calm atmosphere.
You can choose from a wide range of massages, facial and body treatments, water treatments, and beauty treatments.

Yes that's true. For me the staff is the most important part. You can have the most awesome room, when the staff however is unfriendly you still cannot fully enjoy it.
