Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok is a luxury 5-star hotel in the heart of Thailand’s capital. It opened in 1970 and has 517 rooms and suites. Find here my Luxury Hotel Review, Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok.
My first impression of the hotel was very positive. It is decorated with many colorful flowers and pretty nice water elements. The staff is friendly and attentive.
The check-in was easy and fast. I received all the relevant information and was accompanied to my room.
Location
Dusit Thani is located on Silom Road, in the heart of Bangkok’s shopping centers and night markets.
Sala Daeng BTS Skytrain station is next to the hotel, making it easy to travel to any Bangkok place without getting stuck in traffic.
Lumpini Park, one of Bangkok’s largest parks, is just across the street.
Room Experience
I was staying in the “Dusit Room.” It has 60 square meters with a separate bedroom, living area, and a large bathroom.
The room is fully equipped with everything you might need. A/C, two flat screens with cable TV, telephones, hairdryer, mini bar, safe, tea & coffee making facilities, a desk, and a huge range of utensils.
I felt very comfortable staying in this room. It is designed with a passion for details and beautiful orchid flowers.
The Breakfast at Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok
The breakfast buffet at Dusit Thani offers a wide range of food. I was pleased about the good-tasting bread that is so difficult to find in Asia.
Thereto, there is a choice of ham and cheese. You can order freshly made eggs in all varieties: fried egg, omelet, scrambled egg, etc.
Moreover, there is a Japanese selection, sweet pastries, Asian style breakfast, and a choice of fruit juices. All in all, the breakfast buffet caters to all tastes.
Bars and Restaurants
Dusit Thani Hotel Bangkok has seven restaurants with a wide range of Asian food, a Steak house, and an international restaurant. I especially liked the 22 Kitchen & Bar located on the 22nd floor. You have a breathtaking view of Lumpini Park and the cityscape.
The chef is from Hawaii and prepares Pacific coastal cuisine and meat dishes. There is also a nice bar if you only want to enjoy the view with a drink.
Devarana Spa Area
“Devarana” comes from Thai Sanskrit and means “garden in heaven.” You feel like you are entering heaven’s gate when you enter the Spa area.
The Spa is decorated with silver & gold and natural stones & gems. Beautiful lotus blossoms, orchids, and water elements create an oasis with a calm atmosphere.
You can choose from various massages, facial and body treatments, water treatments, and beauty treatments.

Hey Tim, thanks for this. I had never stayeda t the Dusit, it seems every time I travel to Bangkok I stay at a different place. Could be a good one to consider next time! These were some nice views of Lumpini park and the room looked comfy. I'll definitively consider it next time!
I love the Dusit chains, my Dad actually worked in the Dusit Dubai when it first opened :) the Bangkok one looks like a wonderful stay. Wouldn't mind experiencing that for myself haha :D

Yes that's true. For me the staff is the most important part. You can have the most awesome room, when the staff however is unfriendly you still cannot fully enjoy it.
