Journey Duration: 5 hours

Caribe Shuttle offers one daily shuttle from the terminal in Jaco to Tamarindo.

The departure time is at 10 AM and you will arrive at around 3 PM in Tamarindo. The five hours shuttle costs USD 43 per person.

2. Private Transfer from Jaco to Tamarindo

Journey Duration: 4 hours 30 minutes

If you are looking for a bit more luxury and don’t want to be dependent on bus or shuttle schedules, a private transfer will give you more freedom.

We recommend this travel option, especially for families and groups. Depending on the size of your travel group, the cost per person might be similar, or even cheaper, as for a shared shuttle.

Another advantage of a private transfer is that you will be able to make stops on the way (additional costs might apply) and that you can carry more luggage (given that it all fits in the car).
